How BookingIQ uses Google Calendar
Connecting Google Calendar is optional for hosts. With permission, BookingIQ reads the host’s calendar list and busy periods to help prevent conflicting bookings. It creates booking events on the host’s primary calendar, updates their times when rescheduled, and removes them when cancelled. It can also request a Google Meet link for an appointment.
Booking details—including the guest’s name, email, optional phone number and notes—may be included in the event and its invitations. Guests do not need to connect a Google account to book. BookingIQ does not read Gmail inboxes or use Google data for advertising or AI model training.
